Might as well make a thread of "controversial" opinions

1. The whole "body positivity" movement is BS. It was initially supportive of people with physical abnormalities which is amazing. But it turned into telling morbidly obese women that not only is it healthy but anyone not attracted to them is fatphobic
And then exclude men and and underweight people. Everyone should be confident and love themselves. Part of loving yourself is keeping yourself healthy. People need to give positive encouragement to other people to improve themselves
Fat shaming is not ok. Skinny shaming is not ok. Every single person deserves respect regardless of their physical form as long as they too have respect for everyone. Everyone means everyone.
2. I can't believe this one is controversial but it's gonna be. Transgenderism is legit and people's pronouns should be respected. Trans mf rights bitch. However, *there are only two (2) genders*.
This push that there are an uncountable number of genders is destroying progress. We were supposed to get rid of gender roles expectations. But now it seems like anyone who ISN'T either ultrastereotypical male or female must be nonbinary
Gender dysphoria is where your gender (brain) doesn't match your sex (genitalia). As in, your brain rejects what you have between your legs. It causes serious depression and other mental issues for people. That's what a sex (genitalia) change is for. That's what transgenderism is
It's a legitimate mental disorder and the treatment for it is transitioning. But if you're someone who is just a feminine man, or a masculine woman, that doesn't necessarily mean you're trans or nonbinary. Just express yourself how you want to, your gender shouldn't matter.
In conclusion, stop delegitimizing transgenderism by making it a trendy thing to be nonbinary or whatever. Sexuality isn't a choice, you're born that way. Transgenderism and cisgenderism aren't a choice, you're just born that way. And everyone deserves respect regardless
And yes I know that intersex people exist. I know XX and XY aren't the only possible combinations. But there shouldn't be a problem with them choosing either male or female if we didn't force expectations on them depending on which one they choose.
Don’t even get me started on shit like xe/xem pronouns. It defeats the entire point of pronouns if everyone has different ones. But most of all it feels like it's straight up mocking real trans people. Like I'm not convinced it isn't some 4chan ploy to make trans look like a joke
Like how they tried to smear the LGBT community, accusing them of accepting pedophiles
