Maryland has a lot of "halfway houses", such as VOA. These are for prisoners, mostly Federal, who have been released early, for whatever reason. These houses receive a lot of federal funds to house, treat, and reintegrate these people back into society.

These halfway houses across Maryland are emptying out, for safety because of having a lot of people in close proximity, and moving them all into hotels. Another building with a lot of people in close proximity

Hotels are kicking out long term paying guests because they are getting paid 2-3 times the normal rate for them.
Of course these tax payer funded halfway houses are still receiving their normal funding, while being empty, and they are applying for emergency grants and loans,

while taxpayers are paying triple over that for the people they kicked out for "safety"
There's nothing like paying 5 times , or more, for the same service.

As this shutdown continues more and more Jackals will see ways to make money off of it.
Maryland is now allowing people on welfare with no jobs, to apply for "unemployment". This has crashed the system and is causing problems for people really out of work.

They won't get any unemployment benefits, but it qualifies them for the $600 wk Covid payments and the $1200 stimulus. I'm sure many can use it but the abuse is staggering.

And of course plans are already being drafted for the "yearly Covid outbreak" we've already heard about
Osama, Isis, etc. They have found their new boogeyman and they intend to use it to control us in every way possible.

And the prisoners, who are out early on parole/probation are not being monitored or "reintegrated" while in these hotels.
