It all started with a tape that went missing. 30 years later it fell into my hands. Tracking down rare INSIDE OUT recordings is my #1 passion outside of filming shows. This is a never before seen recording from May 19, 1990 at Spanky's Cafe in Riverside, CA.

This 35 min set features 16 tracks (setlist in the comments): the entire IO discography minus "Land of the Lost", "Darkness of Greed" and "Rage Against the Machine". The lyrics to "Just Like You" seem to be different than the other live versions of it that are in existence.

For the shirt collector historians reading this: I strongly believe this set was right after Inside Out printed the "Soul Expression" shirt, as Zack mentions the new design is available.

Other fun fact: this set features "Deathbed", which Vic would later transform into 108's masterpiece.
For the historical record: Zack also states that "No Spiritual Surrender" is slated to come out on @RevelationRecs "in about a month", which is fairly significant because

from what I understand Rev isn't positive of the exact date of its release. This set seems to indicate June 1990.
I got this recording from the Haworth family and after some research found out it was filmed by Joe Nelson, who recognized his handwriting on the label and said it

was one of his tapes that disappeared from his collection. He couldn't believe it finally resurfaced.
There's a legendary story about Inside Out at Spanky's where a man experiencing homelessness walked into the show and the crowd began taunting him, at which point

Zack verbally berated the whole room mid-set. A precursor to the type of shit he would go on to do with his bigger platform a few years later. This is not that set. An audio recording of that does exist and the person who has it will likely read this and hopefully one day they'll

digitally preserve it before the tape fully disintegrates :).
