“Representing where you were from was equally as important as the music and the videos. We had to capture the essence of where we were from so that we could paint a picture of us. Mobb Deep. Queensbridge. As soon as it came on you understand what’s going on.”
“Things we were doing in the video were things that we already did in everyday life. Shootings going on, we looking over the roof. Playing dice. Chasing somebody around the projects. It was things that we did.”

@mobbdeephavoc, on the iconic jerseys:

“He got them from a mall in Jamaica called The Colosseum. Prodigy used to shop there all the time. And the morning of the video, he just brought the jerseys. Had ‘em made. Put our names on it. Spelled Hennessy wrong. But it was perfect.”
Q: Is the stove a metaphor for trying to get someone hooked on you what you guys were cooking with the record?

A: “[Laughs] Let’s go with that one.”

Q: Just cooking up breakfast?

A: “Yeah a couple eggs. Few pieces of bacon. Yeah, let’s go with that.”

“I wish we did a video for “Eye For A Eye.” To have the visual of Raekwon, Nas, Prodigy and myself in one video just would’ve been something for the ages.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOPjFkVJbew&list=PL9tY0BWXOZFs2OBLc9PskbsLS5jVFziYU&index=4">https://www.youtube.com/watch...
“All the top fashion people, I think they look to the urban areas to get inspiration. We was wearing Carhartt ‘cuz we could afford it. Plus it looked good for us! It was tough. We got on Carhartt. It’s not Gucci but it’s still thugged out.”

- @mobbdeephavoc
“We had Nas in there. Nas was on fire. He was a Queensbridge representative like us… then P Diddy came through! That was incredible ‘cuz Diddy is Diddy, but he came through the hood by himself.”

“What I remember about [the “Survival of the Fittest”] video is just being so happy! You probably can’t tell in the video, because, you know, I probably wasn’t smiling, but on the inside I was like a little kid, jumping up and down.”

@mobbdeephavoc, on filming “Give Up the Goods”:

“That was the Supper Club in New York City. We had been touring for like a month. And we had just finished the show and we drove straight to the video shoot, no sleep.”
“At that point everyone wanted to be in a Mobb Deep video. So the line to get in was long. We was happy about that.”

@mobbdeephavoc, on “The Infamous” 25th Anniversary edition:

“I’m super excited. Because it’s new to people. It gives them insight into what made the album, what didn ’t make the album, why it didn& #39;t. Then people can pick their favorites amongst them.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rn_PuBlInjU&list=PL9tY0BWXOZFs2OBLc9PskbsLS5jVFziYU&index=20">https://www.youtube.com/watch...
