Lesbians for all of our history have been attacked and threatened with rape and assault because of our sexual orientation and rejection of men and penises. It used to be that straight men were the ones instigating the attacks. But in recent years we noticed a horrifying shift.
We will not bury our heads in the sand and pretend we don't see the alarming increase in trans activists threatening rape and death at lesbians online. We see it. And we will NOT tolerate this abuse. Yes, even a minority can be abusive toward another minority and it is shameful.
Young lesbians who are reading this, we want you to know that you have every right to your bodily autonomy and to your exclusive same-sex attraction. No, you do not ever need to "expand your mind" to include ANYONE.
Your body belongs to you alone, and who touches it will always be, and should be, exclusive. You can exclude anyone at any time for ANY reason. And being homosexual and liking only females - yes with vaginas only! Is OK!
Attempting to coerce women to accept a male body or male body part is NOT supporting trans people. It is nothing more than a purely homophobic attack and it doesn't matter who you are if you do it, you are a homophobe and a misogynist. That ends here.
Lesbians have a right to homosexuality. And we want you to know that we are here for you, and we will not tolerate these vicious homophobic attacks, whether they are blatant or subtle attempts to "open your mind." Your minds are fine just the way they are. You are ok. We are ok.
