I came up with this lil idea. A THREAD. Right now I cannot afford to create great visuals as I had planned in my mind, considering what we’re living. If you’re my friend, you may know that I rarely take selfies and I find myself more comfortable when working with a photographer.

I’d like to collaborate with as many black/brown visual artists as possible. How though? Art costs money and as a college student, how can I afford it? So far, I got the help of @buymeacoffee

“Fashion On The Beat” is a multimedia project (book and podcast) that was born with the idea of engaging within socially active communities, of representing the underrepresented, and of getting to know insightful creatives in fashion and journalism.
For this reason I want to involve more those people who got me til here. Those people who I still haven’t met and are out there with good vibes and bursting energy. I know there are. Maybe I’ve been lucky I’ve always met this kind of people, but I wanna attract more.
Through this link you can donate up to $15 and with this money I will pay the artists I will decide to feature in my book’s campaign, for my ig, and especially my blog. https://www.buymeacoffee.com/thecurlyflower
I still wanna do what my guts and heart suggest me to pursue, what I’m naturally driven to. If this freedom is possible, I choose to proceed this way. Let the universe do its job. So far, thank you all and make sure tho share this with your illustrators, artists, whoever: thanks!
