Today my astronomy cross stitch is a special one- Figure 1 from my paper on radio observations of SN 1987A!

It is all completely accurate, right down to the coords, intensity scale, even the beam model (resolution). Here’s a close up!

SN 1987A is an amazing object btw! Closest SN to us since the invention of the telescope, we’ve been watching the shockwave interact w its environment ever since. Here’s a gif I made of all these images, 1992-2017:
