The economic and social danger posed by the pandemic is real and imminent. You address it and sort the rest out later. You damn sure don't allow it to materialize because you're worried about bond vigilantes or a 10% CPI print.

It would obviously be nice not to have to contemplate disruptive change to the way we do things. But we are where we are, and we need to get our priorities straight.
