Hello and happy Friday! It’s a bittersweet day for the Heart n Soul team, because today would have been the day the Beautiful Octopus Club took place at @ExploreWellcome [A BIG BUT EXCITING THREAD]
Lots of you know what it is, but if you don’t - the Beautiful Octopus Club is London’s longest running inclusive club night. There’s music, dancing, performance, art, massages. It’s free. EVERYONE is welcome.
We’re sad that it can’t happen today, but it’s important to remember that it’s only postponed - London’s most beautiful party will be back! But we’ve not been sat around feeling sad we can’t be together in person. We’ve been MAKING THINGS HAPPEN. Here are some of those things:
We worked with artist @ben_connors to design Creative Packs, which are being posted out to our participants every two weeks, to help people feel more connected and more creative during lockdown. They’re brilliant fun.

Allsorts and the Heart n Soul choir run every Thursday. Penny and James, our choir leaders, recorded brilliant Bill Withers themed choir session, and yesterday over 40 people joined a big zoom sing-a-long. You can have a go too!
