We are now hearing about the newly released #Hoosier Life Survey. Follow along to hear about the new data and its findings.
You can learn more about the Hoosier Life Survey and view a visualization of the results on our website: https://eri.iu.edu/tools-and-resources/hoosier-life-survey-opinion-map.html
Why was the Hoosier Life Survey needed? #Climatechange is a global problem that requires responses at all levels. However, most surveys are nationally-representative. This creates a need for local data from influential state and city levels.
The Hoosier Life Survey draws on the responses of actual #Hoosiers and focuses on #climate resilience, including household practices and policy to apply to state and local levels to inform and motivate decisions.
Special thanks to @IUcsr for their help and collaboration throughout the process.
The survey used a combination of online and paper surveys to ensure all #Hoosier opinions were surveyed, including those without internet access.
Some topics looked at included values, views, media use, experiences, and policy and household actions related to #environmentalchange.
The initial summary report is out now with more on the way. https://eri.iu.edu/tools-and-resources/hoosier-life-survey/hls-summary-report.pdf
Future reports included specialized data tailored to local areas to better inform local governments, companies, and organizations to better prepare their community.
You can view an interactive geospatial map of some of the responses on our website. More regional information will continue to be added as available. https://eri.iu.edu/tools-and-resources/hoosier-life-survey-opinion-map.html
