I agree with you that we follow the evidence of how to win, but this by Rutger Bregman sums up why I disagree that the evidence suggests we water down our leftwing radicalism. It suggests the opposite.

What we should be arguing at the moment is how current government policy drives high "market" rewards to those who least deserve it-people who are just glorified administrators at best- harmful wealth shifters adept at raiding real worker's salaries disincentivising real work.
