It’s very difficult to explain to a lot of duty oriented people and religious people that life is beyond just duty and responsibility. That life is beyond just working to survive and then providing for the next generation.
Some people actually have nothing else they aim to do except fulfil societal expectations and responsibilities. Like, even if you relieve them of all that, they’d feel lost not free.
I wonder what religious people truly imagine the next life to be like. I was never able to picture anything worth anticipating, not realistically anyway.
I guess that much makes sense, religion never claimed to be realistic.
