Ok so since Dana wants me to post on my main here we go!!

A thread analyzing Karma Akabane's character??
this is my take of it ofc so feel free to change or add anything
Since this is my main i'll put trigger warnings so:

tw//mention of suicide

I can't think of anything else but if something pops up i'll trigger warn it
So in season one episode 3
Karma had a plan to kill koro sensei now this plan consisted of him, jumping off a cliff? (I think that's the word?) and him shooting koro sensei, ofc he got saved by koro sensei but there might be a tiny detail people brush off
In Karma's mind he didn't think of the option were Koro sensei saves him.

In Karma's mind, both options involved his death
He jumped off, yes koro sensei saved him but in his mind the options were these:

a) koro sensei let's him die
b) koro sensei tries to save him BUT karma kills him (so technically karma dies if koro sensei is dead)
So he still jumped off even though in his mind those were the two options, and those two options ultimately involved his death.
tw//mention of suicide

Nagisa also mentioned that Karma was so calm during all that (him jumping off) it feels like he had accepted that he was gonna die, and it lowkey feels like he did not care, because why would you kill yourself just to kill a teacher?
Also Karma beating all those people up, he may be a cocky little bastard but i'm sure he knew that if he messed with the wrong people he may ultimately get killed, which makes me think that he may actually not care if he's dead or alive
This brings me to my next point, the flashback we had with young Karma and Nagisa at the fast food place
