To explain what's happening:
SM told Ktown4u to stop group orders by fansites that also included merch with Dream's faces on them. This does not affect any of the bars.

The reason SM would do this is because most fansites take photos of the members illegally/off-schedule and then sell them for their own profit. And that is super illegal since Dream is paid for every merch with their faces on them.
Fansites aren't paying Dream of course, so this is why SM is probably telling Ktown4u to stop those orders. Fansites will either have to cancel their merch with the albums or cancel the group orders altogether.
Everyone got upset right away and barely knew anything about the situation. And that's always upsetting because this doesn't affect the bars and SM is actually protecting their idols. No one should be making money off their faces.
So please stop saying SM is sabotaging Dream. That's not the case at all. Ya'll flip narratives so fast. We were just celebrating a fixed unit and track videos. Before reacting to things, try to find a source for the information.
Apparently this also happened with 127. So there should be no unit fanwars on the tl I'm already seeing a few and it's annoying. Stop it.
To explain more: bars include merch with the member's name/doll/album name etc. I don't think I've ever seen a bar use their face. So again, this doesn't affect them. And one more thing: stop saying "sm shouldn't care" or that "dream makes a lot of money anyway" or "fansites are just getting more sales for Dream"

You should want this for Dream. If their name is ever trademarked, they would also get paid for everything their name is on. This is how contracts/licensing works. Why is SM doing this now? Idk. A new CEO? You can be mad all you want. I was just trying to help ppl understand
