It’s great for the SEC that it had 15 players drafted in the first round, especially for the 4 schools that combined for 13 of them but can anyone explain to me how it supposedly benefits any of the rest of the teams outside of some theoretical recruiting bump that’s never (ctd)
Really taken place at the majority of them? Conference pride is fine but basically you’ve got more than half the league thumping its chest at being part of something it isn’t a part of. Do the Raiders, Chargers and Broncos celebrate KC having Mahomes and a Super Bowl?
It only matters if you’re one of the teams regularly contributing multiple players to the gaudy draft stats. Otherwise it actually makes it harder and isn’t really something you should root for. Inmy opinion anyway.
