Ya know, I’ve been doing some pondering about AYITL, and I thought of a really interesting concept they could have done. I wish they brought Adam Brody (Dave) Back for atleast ONE scene, and it would go a little like this...

Dave comes back to StarsHollow hoping that Lane is still single, and we all know that she isn’t. Lane is just walking down the street to like Lukes or Dooseys, and then Dave walks up to her and makes a big ol’ speech. And Lane has accidentally forgotten to put on her ring.

So Dave thinks Lane is single and is available and Dave spills his heart, “I still love you! We should try this again.” But as soon as the speech is over, Steve and Kwan run over and yelling like “Mom! Mom!” And then Zach comes running behind them all breathless.

Then Dave realizes that not only has Lane moved on, but she’s married to another band member? Oof, talk about hurt feelings. Idk, it’s 6am and I’ve been mulling this over for a while. What do you think would be Dave’s reaction?
