ok upon my battle of the disney channel ice movies Ice Princess vs Go Figure i have no choice but to stan Ice Princess and here is why: a thread

there is ACTUAL figure skating choreo in Ice Princess and like a single lutz jump in the entirety of Go Figure. not to mention the actual BAD dance choreo that is actually disrespectful considering she skates at junior level???

Katelin from Go Figure is so entitled and bratty and Casey from Ice Princess would N E V E R. Katelin has to be humbled from her high-and-mighty attitude and Casey is such a humble QUEEN, coming from nothing and becoming EVERYTHING.

yes, Go Figure has the quaint element of Katelin hating hockey and having to overcome and win the hearts of her teammates AND her ice skating competition, but let’s be honest, the acting? wheeeeeew chile. so bad. heinous.

not to mention Ice Princess has @haydenpanettier, who functions in one of the greatest rude-girl-turned-incredible-friend transformations out there. plus, she’s hayden panettier. obvious superiority.

and we CANNOT IGNORE the uncomfortable reality of the ~relationship~ between 14 y/o Katelin and 18 y/o Spencer. omg. disney WHY. and on the other spectrum, the blossoming one-of-a-kind love between Casey and Teddy :,) he drives a ZAMBONI. original. classic. never been done before

also, let’s not forget that Katelin didn’t even know HOW to play hockey/wanted to quit after 1
practice and in just a few months was willing to possibly give up her chance at a figure skating OLYMPIC QUALIFICATION to play in a HOCKEY GAME. where is the logic girl?????

there is honestly a lot more to be said but in favor of my own sanity i will lay it to rest. stream Ice Princess on Disney+. bye i’m off to watch Eddie’s Million Dollar Cook-Off!
