My two cents on the video.

Beating up a child who’s failed his/her exams is NOT THE SOLUTION. Just because it was done to us, or you’ve spent alot of cash does not mean we should continue rolling the bandwagon of whooping kids.
What kind of a society are we raising?

First problem that we need to tackle is the assumption that all students are the same and that the “1 size fits all education system” is working.

The system in place doesn’t account for alot of variables, such as physical prowess, art skills which needs to be reared. (2/n)
His exam certificate has been shared, he has distinction in Music, the parent ought to have used his money wisely to find an education specialist that can gauge where the talent of the kid lies, and help him pursue it.
Parent’s involvement is not in paying fees only.

A parent is the first teacher,and his/her involvement is crucial in helping them develop emotionally & communication skills.
Not every child can be an Einstein, even Jay Z’s are relevant.

Let’s embrace the changes and the gov’t owes us good education.
