reading how strict some peoples parents were on here when they were in high school like .... damn i cant relate my mom was never breathing down my neck calling my friends and shit thats weird. we always had boundaries im thankful for that. i turned out fine thanks to her

like yea you wanna make sure your kid is safe. i get that. but going thru their phones, diaries, etc never letting them go out and do things is weird to me. like let your kid live damn they’re gonna do it one way or another wouldn’t you rather establish boundaries and trust?
