Any crazy lab stories out there you’d like to share? I have a few, so I’ll start

I once opened new t-BuLi that unknowingly came with a bad seal. When I opened the cap, a fire immediately ensued, and my hood was soon covered in so much sand, it resembled a beach. #chemtwitter

The key is that I was prepared. I had a sand bucket next to me, and was aware where the fire extinguishers were in case I needed them (fortunately not needed in this case). #chemtwitter
