Inviting Omojuwa to give a talk on politcal activism is not only disrespectful to Nigerians, it is disingenuous in the sense that you're willing to give your platform to a political e-thug thereby signalling that that is the right path to take to get recognition.

There are so many people that could have been invited. There are guys that are on self enforced exile right now because they stood up to the government. They get no recognition. There are those whose lives and safety have been threatened because they dared to speak.

Where are they on your roster. Omojuwa is nothing but a twitter MC Oluomo. Maybe we should engage MC Oluomo to give speeches on the roles of union workers in organising free and fair elections. A lot of things in Nigeria are now being judged by who can pay the highest to

white wash their own horrid pasts. I'm disappointed @YeleSowore agreed to to be on the same panel with @omojuwa to speak on "Political Activism". When has Omojuwa ever spoken up against bad government when it doesn't involve lining his own pockets.

There are people who are way more qualified to speak on political activism in Nigeria. @EiENigeria should know this much. Political activism is daring to release the video of a sitting governor recieving bribes. It is paying for legal counsel against the powerful mother of a

boy who goes about threatening people with rape, it is taking the case pro bono. It is airing a show that the government does not want aired because it shows the bad side of the government. It is so many things but it is nothing close to what Japheth represents.

We have to learn to do the right things amongst ourselves or we are just as bad as the leaders we lead protest against and call out on their follies.

Dear @EiENigeria, I'm calling you out. Do the right thing. Omojuwa has no right to be speaking on politcal activism

as he's not a political activist. You could as well invite the leaders of terrorists groups to give speeches on anti-terror.

Let's do better as the citizenry. Let's give the platform to whom it is due. We have lived in a dystopian for long enough. It starts with us.

The madness that we allow exist will grow and fester and become the new order. You have a platform because people trust your judgement. Don't give it to the wrong people or you'll be classified with this same people. Is it worth it?
