And here comes Hamza, who beats the friend to a pulp. He also SCREAMS like a beast at Hamna when she asks why he did that, and he says, "HAAN MAIN JAAN SEY MAAR DOON GA!" which somehow inspires great love in Hamna, instead of inspiring great hatred and aversion.

Internalized misogyny kay full marks. Later, when Hamna's parents decide to marry her off to another guy (who is a gentle & simple human being), she calls Hamza while he's driving. She's crying, and he asks twice why is she crying. She's distressed so she doesn't answer.

Third time: HE SCREAMS LIKE A DEMON into the phone, asking HAMNA RO KYUN RAHI HO. A normal person would say bhaar mein jao kuttay kaisay bol rahey ho. But internalised misogyny queen Hamna takes it as ~*so passionate~*, sheds a tear & says she'll call him later.

Later, these two incidents (beating friend, screaming into phone) are used over and over again as haseen yaadein of Hamza that Hamna has and it is making her cry all the time about being married off to a normal, decent human being. Khair. Just on the third episode. Let's see.

Meanwhile, isn't Feroz Khan another entrant to the "Mein Handsome Boy Unlearned Maulvi Banoon Ga" club? If he really stops doing dramas because of this, it'll be excellent. Because, dude, the 70s called to tell you the "angry young man" acting trope is a piece of shit.

Hamza just found out Hamna has married someone, he drags her into a courtyard, throws a balled up piece of paper in her face and again SCREAMS at her for getting married & not telling him. She has already told him she can't share her issues with him cos she fears his temper.
