It has been one month since we launched our Rapid Response service to help our NHS through this difficult period, and it’s been extremely humbling to see the amount of people who have signed up to lend their skills and experience – thank you!

We are continuously improving this new recruitment route and having started with a select few, in-demand roles, we have now expanded to include a variety of both registered and unregistered positions that are all essential to providing patient care during the pandemic.

As well as this, existing NHS Professionals bank members and those new “Rapid Responders” who have joined us, now have even more choice of where to work with nearly 90 Trusts to select from.

Launching a service at this scale isn’t without its challenges, so we are extremely proud of the NHSP team and our friends at @skillsforhealth and @DBSgovuk working hard behind the scenes to pull everything together.

Also, a big thank you to all the staff at NHS Trusts who are doing a great job at inducting new starters and making them feel welcome at this challenging time.
