Why do catholic schools produce students that eventually become contrary to their "core values" that they've been inculcating?

Prolly, it's because they're so keen and only focusing on their reputation more than being student-centered, as what it should be esp. in trying times.
Prior to what I've just stated about the students, I didn't mean to offend the latter; it's about the system that's been evident in SOME catholic schools. Education should be focused on character-building, not on mere commercialization and tarpaulins-out-of-school's-pride stuff.
As a matter of fact, it should not be monetized, for it's a right.
"... not on mere commercialization and tarpaulins-out-of-school's-pride stuff..."

Schools benefit from its product; so, the PROCESS of education should also incorporate and recognize students' progress, especially on their mental-emotional states, not only on their academics.
