Narasimha Swamy Cave Temple...♥️

Here Lord Narasimha, the 4th incarnation of Lord Maha Vishnu is standing amidst the water in the cave.

The deity Lord Narasimha of Jharani Temple is 'Swayambhu' is visible in his Divya Mangala Salagrama Roopam who is very powerful.

The Sthalapuranam of this temple states that when Lord Vishnu took Narasimha Avataar to kill the Demon Hiranyakashyapa he also killed another asura (giant) named Jalasura, and lived in the same cave as it was his home.
@ProfMKay
As Jalasura was an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, in his last breath he requested Lord Vishnu (Lord Narasimha) to stay in the same cave where he was living and bless the devotees.

Therefore, Lord Narasimha took the Swayambhu Avataar and the Demon Jalasura took the form of Natural Spring water which flows continuosly through Lord's feet till date from hundreds of years ago and fills the cave giving it the name as "Jharani Narasimha Cave Temple".
The main attraction of this temple is that this is excavated in a 300 m tunnel. This tunnel is located under d Manichoola hill range.There is a very little space inside the prayer hall. It can occupy only eight people at a time and others need to wait in the water for their turn.
Here devotees need to walk through this tunnel containing half of water to reach the sanctum sanctorum which houses two deities; Lord Narasimha and a Shiva Linga.
Shri Jharani Narasimha Swamy cave Temple is situated in Bidar. Bidar is known for its historic sites and is called as the 'City of Whispering Monuments' in North Karnataka
