While India is still in the growth phase of this pandemic, the speed is slowing considerably. Growth rate of Active cases is now 5.1%, so they are doubling every 14 days.

The compound daily growth rate =12.7%
7Day Moving average and deviations from it:
1) Daily New Confirmed cases.
2) Daily COVID deaths.
1)Total confirmed COVID cases in hotspot countries and in India.
2)Total COVID deaths in hotspot countries and in India.
3) Brazil joins the unfortunate ‘hotspot’ club with >50K cases and >3000 deaths.
4)Unusual fluctuations in Brazil data coming from “Active” cases (!).

1) Accelerated growth: Mexico, Belarus,Pakistan, Brazil,Peru
2) Slowing down: Japan, Singapore, India, Indonesia,Canada,UK,Turkey,Spain
COVID death rate per million:
1) Low & growing: India, Japan, Finland
2) High & growing: Belgium, UK, Sweden, US
3) Stabilized: S Korea (at low level); Spain/Italy (at high level)

COVID death rate per million people:
Confirmed cases per 100 tests: 4.3%
Total tests conducted: 5,41,789
Despite conservative testing protocol (i.e. testing people with higher probability of contracting COVID), India has v low infection rate compared to EU, US.
