As long as Speaker Nabih Berri is alive and sitting on top of the parliament, #Hezbollah will not be able to achieve any reforms related to fighting corruption. Berri was a member of (big boss) Rafic Hariri's clan of corruption team along with Walid Jumblat et al. +

Central Bank Governor Riyad Salame' is protected by all this team of corrupted politicians. He knows all their secrets and has contributed to their (and his) wealth. This is why he does what he wants and feels protected and untouched in #Lebanon.+

Speaker Nabih Berri is the most clever is blowing up parliament schedule when he is unwilling to offer his support. Berri is willing to be engaged in another inter-Shia war if necessary. Hezbollah will have to wait until he died and remove "AMAL" from the leadership for ever.

Ex-PM Saad Hariri is happy to see Berri on his side, along with Walid Jumblat because they are all part of the most corrupted people who hijacked the country's wealth since #Hezbollah is paid by #Iran and not stealing Lebanese resources. Salame was only a financial facilitator.

What is surprising though is the position of President Michel Aoun and his son-in-law Gebran Basil is rejecting the law giving the authority to the justice system to interrogate Ministers and ex-Ministers et al. I anyway, this law was useless without an independent justice system

If Judges are selected by politicians, the justice system is a failure in #Lebanon. The Parliamentary law was symbolic and would have resulted in almost nothing serious, but a start.

#Lebanon has to wait for a new generation to remove the old corrupted one, in power today.
