kiwi is about taylor swift; a thread
kiwi was recorded in 2016 for harry styles' debut album and this is some of the background he gave for the music
everyone think it's about georgia fowler, the new zealand model but let me just say y'all are WRONG and i had this epiphany after 1 bottle of wine so here we go
"she worked her way through a cheap pack of cigarettes"

i think the first line is referring to how she [the girl this song is talking about] started from the bottom and became something huge. taylor started singing in bars to like 30 people, and now she's selling out stadiums
"hard liquor mixed with a bit of intellect"

everyone always says how taylor is smart as hell (and everyone who's a fan of hers knows that). this line references the first one: she climbed all the way to the top because she's smart
"and all the boys, they were saying they were into it
such a pretty face, on a pretty neck"

this one doesn't really need an explanation he's just going off about how pretty my baby is. also "all the boys were into it" how many guys have already said that they have a crush on her
"it’s new york, baby, always jacked up"

nyc plays a big role in taylor's life, and in haylor. they were papped several times in ny.
"whole tunnels, foreign noises always backed up"

this line looks similar to taylor's "walking through a crowd, the village is aglow
kaleidoscope of a loud heartbeats under coats"
"when she's alone, she goes home to a cactus"

we know that taylor was single during 2014 and most of 2015 until ratvin and after (it's mentioned in miss americana after she wins the grammy) or it also could imply that calvin was a cactus idk and idc tbh
"in a black dress, such an actress"

ok i won't use wearing black as an argument here BUT taylor was wearing a lot of black dresses during 2013/14/15 and in the 1989 secret session live in new york she talks about wearing a black dress and how that never go out of style +
before performing style ( 0:48).
still about the dress thing, she referred to herself as "the girl in the dress" in dear john and refers to dress in 1989 in wildest dreams. she's also wearing a black dress in the blank space mv
about the actress thing:
she's literally an actress since she's starred in some movies but so many people say she's fake ("you can't possibly be that surprised") so it could be a metaphor for that OR haylor since ppl say it was a pr stunt
"she's driving me crazy but im into it, im kinda into it
it's getting crazy, i think im losing it"

crazy seems to be reinforced here since he says with TWICE and stresses it when he sings it. it could be a reference to her persona created by the media (the crazy serial dater)
like the blank space mv. it's also a word that is used in the prologue of the ikywt monologue (which again is a haylor song but that's another thread)
the whole into it escalation seems to me like he's into her no matter what people say about her (i.e. the crazy things)
"i think she 'i'm having your baby, it's none of your business' "
OF COURSE this is a metaphor. to me he's saying that she's bossy and that she knows what she wants, which is how he described her once in the beginning of haylor (oh the good old days)
"she sits beside me like a silhouette
hard candy dripping on me till my feet are wet"

hard candy is the name of a popular drink in the uk, which fits with the "dripping on me" part. also there's a scene in the blank space mv where taylor eats a hard candy
"and now she's all over me"
this line could also refer to "you're still all over me like a wine stained dress i cant wear anymore" (dress again bye)
"it's like i paid for it, im gonna pay for it"

for me this is about the time when he realized he was going to pay for this (the relationship) for a long time because people still ask him about her to this day
this is it me think wash your hands and stay at home
the lyrics here are wrong the actual lyrics are "holland tunnel for a nose it’s always backed up" i got it wrong from a website but it's still the same meaning so bye https://twitter.com/thislovve/status/1253557943477383169?s=19
