Some Hard realities we might have to live with in the coming days/weeks/months.
👇👇👇
1. #lockdownextension
This is the 4th week of lockdown, and we have seen a constant increase in number cases daily. With the lockdown extended, hunger and frustration will increase, crime will skyrocket; and maybe, or certainly, the spread of the disease will not be stopped. Sad!
2. Lockdown Suspension:
If government decides to hear the cry of people who are all out of food and money to stay locked down, and decide to suspend the lockdown;
Preach social distancing and personal hygiene all you want, it wont work in Nigeria.
Infections will hit the sky!
The best thing Nigeria can do, could have been done two months ago; Close all entry points into the country, especially from countries with active Covid19 infections.
Nigerians cried, yelled, trended hashtags, shouted too.. but were ignored
Now we are here.. in this impossible situation.
All of us, including those people that ignored our cries.
We are all here, to manage our healthcare system the way it has always been.
We all here
Its 316 new cases actually.
316 with zero discharged in 3 days straight
