I think the reason why Kpop twitter hates BTS so much is because they werenât expecting BTS to be THE group that broke out into the west. Proof is ...not ONCE has the kpop community supported them. I fully believe had it been a big 3 group they wouldnât be hating like this.
Cause tell me why they were SO quick to rally behind these other kpop groups in the west when they have less impact, and less achievements. They always pride themselves on their faves being âfirstâ at something so why is that such a double standard when it comes to BTS???
Prime example is blackpink, nct, and superM (with a pinch of MX but I donât really see kpop fans promoting their album or making viral tweets abt them like that). All of these groups (ex. MX) are big 3 groups and when it comes to the âwestern achievementâ tweets 40-60K likes.

Thereâs other Kpop groups with âwestern achievementsâ (or decent sized US fanbases) who have collaborated with other artists quite recently but are NOT talked about and they do not go viral because it just doesnât fit Kpop twitters agenda. (Example: TXT, (G)I-Dle, Loona, etc).
Like some of yâall blame this on armys. But what was yalls excuse when BTS DIDNT have these achievements and yâall were still hating and not supporting them? Need I remind yâall that BTS did not get their first #1 album until 2018.
A lot of the achievements BTS ...

have gotten that armys have bragged about happened quite recently like within the past 2 years. So.. thereâs quite a disconnect there. Thatâs the main reason why youâll never see me congratulate a kpop group on here UNLESS itâs one of my faves....
Idc if your fave gets nominated for a Grammy. Idc if they win. Idc if they collaborate with BeyoncĂ©. I wonât congratulate them bc thatâs dumb asf and I know if BTS did any of those things yâall would find SOME way to invalidate it like yâall did with the 2019 Grammys.
Lemme finish my thread.
