I’ve been really hard on myself lately about every little mistake I make when it comes to my own costume making, so I’m creating a thread of costumes I made mostly or entirely myself. Feel free to ignore, I’ll just be adding to this to remind myself that I’m talented & capable

Bodice for Huntress, patterned, painted, and assembled by me out of scrap materials during quarantine so proud of how well this fits and I love the color even though the paint is cracking a bit at the collar

Gwen Christmas sweater: hand painted by me I’m so proud of how this came out and I would make more if this didn’t take over 50 hours

Still a work in progress with so much left to do, but Anne’s bodysuit: patterned, assembled, and bedazzled with appliqué (is that the word I’m looking for?) hand stitched all by me.
