I don't know if this is a hot take or not but "high waisted" pants look 100x better than low waisted pants bc it sits at the natural waist and is therefore inherently more flattering
Like, the silhouette of the Leyendecker man is more appealing bc the pants are cinched in the narrowest part of his body as opposed to the Old Navy model who's pants aren't
On the one hand, I understand that standards of masculinity have shifted and we now subconsciously associate a lower waist with a more masculine appearance but I think it makes more sense for the clothing to follow the natural lines of the body as opposed to fighting them
Also, I'm pear-shaped and I want to wear masculine clothing but low waisted pants look awful on me and fit bad so I'm making a blanket statement to suit my particular gripe with men's fashion
If you think this thread is annoying/boring can you imagine what my family has had to deal with being locked indoors with me for over a month?
