Here’s my issue with “makeup trends.” I didn’t start coloured lashes, but I’ve been doing them since I’ve started my makeup account. If I were to do them now— without having any inspo— I’d get attacked
I’m not asking for credit — that’s not the point of this post because literally rainbow false lash products exist. It’s just the fact that sometimes things get a little crazy and people are rude without asking questions first— I think instead of man hunting everyone we should+
Definitely ask and if you 100% feel someone is trying to cop your style and claim it as their own, by all means bring your pitchforks. Let’s not make crediting people so toxic so people are afraid to post.
Call me anything you want but I truly believe in order to heal this community, we all need to be nicer and inviting and truly kick all the rude people out and act like they don’t exist.
Credit is very fucking important. It can get people jobs. Interviews. Fucking SEEN. Do it. It doesn’t make you less of an artist. It doesn’t make you unoriginal. You are talented and so was your inspiration. We have a right to protect our art but god can we just be nicer about it
