So you say "I’d rather rate my own content". The problem is you are not rating your truth- but YouTube's. According to them, video of me wearing my normal street clothes is sexually explicit- that is the "truth" they are trying to condition- so I self-censor and change outfits.

The first step to making someone believe something is true, is making them live their life as if it was- that's how thought reform works. Right now, the default state if I upload a video is I make money off it for food, shelter etc.- tangible reinforcers.

Right now YouTube uses Negative Punishment- it removes my income if I do not self-censor according to their subjective definitions- if I do not change my behavior to accept their truth. This is basic behavioral change, works on lots of animals and it will move the needle.

But it basically still focuses on behavior- not thought. Self-criticism is effective because it's training you to think like the people doing the conditioning, to become ideologically compliant in both behaviors and thought processes. They don't correct you, you correct yourself.

Right now, YouTube will monetize any video I upload, then check it via automation, then if I disagree- a manual review.
Under the new system, I have two choices-
1. Self-criticism, which then is immediately reviewed by automation, and if compliant immediately monetized.

Or 2. opt-out and have no monetization until a manual review is done. If you comply with the conditioning process and give ideologically correct answers, you get continued access to the conditioning process, if you comply in both thought & action- rewarded with food and shelter

Me shooting a video, knowing my normal clothes might be censored by YouTube as "Sexual Explicit" is a very different thing than me shooting, knowing I will have to certify my truth- that I am not "Sexual Explicit" and then lose time and income for poor ideological compliance.
