The modern American worldview is entirely grounded in the World War 2 Cinematic Universe (WW2CU) fandom that we've all been a part of for the last 75 years.

The story's been remastered and rebooted so many times nobody remembers the original or that there even was an original.
It's inconsequential if WW2 happened. The myth of the war has supplanted the real history of it. Our entire paradigm operates within the WW2CU myth.

Take American disdain for the French, for example. An ignorant take grounded in the WW2CU that obfuscates centuries of friendship.
Much of what you think you know about the war is from its Cinematic Universe rather than the real events of the war.

Admiral Yamatoto's quote "We've awoken a sleeping giant" in response to Pearl Harbor is from a Hollywood movie that came out in the 1970s. Many, many such cases!
Pour conclure, you are living within the mental confines of a fandom sub-r*dd*t indistinguishable from the Marvel Cinematic Universe sub-r*dd*t.

Worse, it's managed and moderated by the same type of people who do it for free.

And that's what is meant by "fuck jannies", class.
