how does astrology work?

like, how does the light from stars million miles away have an effect on your personality?

and it IS the light. the position of the stars is not how they appear to us.

that's the thing that always trips me out about astrology.

people firmly believe in it, but mostly seem incurious to the mechanics of how it works.

I dunno, I've never believed in anything supernatural, so a lot of this stuff lost on me.

for the record, I don't think it's bad if people are into it.

I think a lot of that stuff is often useful or just fun to use as a way to interpret things.
