"Steele said that a Hushmail account he used in late December 2016 was “wiped” clean. He also said that communications with Fusion GPS on his company’s computer network were scrubbed on Jan. 5, 2017"

The same day Obama was briefed with the ICA. https://amp.dailycaller.com/2020/04/23/christopher-steele-dossier-deleted-emails-source?__twitter_impression=true
Despite my gut feelings about Chris Philby Steele, let's assume the IG report revision "completely changed the nature of the interviews that [Primary Sub-source] gave to them in January 2017."

Which changes make Steele look better?
I guess Steele got his way when the IG inserted multiple "did not recall". That way it is less he said she said and more Steele said and the Primary Sub-source's memory could be faulty.

Since Steele destroyed all comms and notes, it would be hard to prove definitively.
What made Steele destroy his notes and comms on January 5, 2017?

What happened the day before on January 4, 2017?

John Solomon reports the US government learned information on January 4, 2017 from a source debunking assertions in the dossier. https://twitter.com/RevisitedRick/status/1233584057168076800?s=19
"The status of the information was revealed during an exchange Steele had on March 18 with Hugh Tomlinson, a lawyer for Petr Aven, German Khan, and Mikhail Fridman, the owners of Alfa Bank."

@Deepstate6969 Thoughts on Alfa Bank owners Aven, Khan and Fridman suing Steele?
