Reflecting a bit on SaaStr Summit yesterday

- In many ways, the content was actually better than an IRL event
- More were able to participate (16,000+)
- Discussions were more honest
- Q+A much better, more interesting

and yet ...

- Virtual "events" aren't special

- Maybe it's everyone getting excited, getting "dressed up", that makes them so special

- Getting 10k, 15k, 20k to fly from all across the world to come together, to take time out, is special

- Not sure any digital event will ever do that. Just ... different.
