PKK-KDP tensions.

1. First and foremost, this is a Kurdish-Turkish dispute with Turkey trying to string along other Kurdish parties. Kurds shouldn’t make it a Kurdish-Kurdish issue.

Turkey neither cares about KDP or PKK, and will happily use KDP to trigger a war between Kurds.
2. This will be KDPs decision if it wants to side with Turkey. But KDP should know all Kurds are paying attention, watching its moves. This isn’t Saddam days where KDP brings in Baathists to gain bolster its presence then try to explain it away. This is a failed approach.
3. KDP should not side with Turkey to start a war against other Kurds. KDP leadership should not forget its failed referendum and the threats it received from Erdogan. Turkey told you to know your place if not, they will send you their forces at night while you’re asleep.
4. If KDP views itself as this modern, “diplomatic” party then it should be smart enough to reach out to PKK for talks, openly. Do it so Turkey sees. If not then the plan is to clearly trigger a war with PKK alongside Turkish forces. Who in Kurdistan will accept you after this?
5. KDP must stop using Turkey’s talking points. It’s embarrassing, it looks like your master in Ankara called and told you to either say this or it will no longer fund you. Enough. Be a party for Kurds. Be brave, not tribal. Stop behaving like Turkey’s proxy.
6. KDP, don’t forget you were also on the terror list with PUK few years ago, it was a political decision. You were once on the list, you can be put back on the list, you’re not too big to fail. It just takes evidence before Congress. My advice, be “Kurdistani” not an AKP wing.
7. PKK, whether you like it or not, you are on the terror list. Turkey has successfully used this to have its way in Bashur to the extent of setting up permanent bases. Bashur is the safest and most autonomous region Kurds have, any war there is an attack on Kurdistan itself.
8. PUK can play a big role and mediate between KDP-PKK. Kurds need to stand together. Don’t fall for Turkey’s trap, they’re watching you as you exchange threats, they’re laughing at all of you. Remember when all Turkish parties united in solidarity during the invasion of Rojava?
9. KDP-PUK talk about genocide. How about preventing another genocide? Stop repeating the same mistakes. Kurdistan does not belong to KDP-PUK-PKK, or your families. You are Kurds, stand shoulder to shoulder, show your enemies you can’t be triggered by their devious intentions.
10. If there’s a civil war, Bashur will collapse, and Rojava will soon follow, Iran, Iraq, Iran, Turkey will celebrate together.

You want sovereignty? Then stop backstabbing one another, you’re your own obstacle. You’re losing, they’re winning. Unite. End.
