i want to start by sharing one of mine: in my ap world, my teacher taught islam as if it was the most evil/backwards religion and continuously mocked traditions to the point where people would ask me, “is it really that bad?”

the fetishization of muslim women, the blatant misogyny&homophobia by students, the n-word used casually, admins sticking up for the white kids, faculty refusing to be unbiased, making kids run while they fasted, elitism, pedophilia, and the disrespect for poc and their trauma
