@UrinatingTree Thomas is actually a good pick, as someone who's been paying attention in the draft. He's the most refined tackle in the draft and considered the safest pick. Browns fans have him as OT1 as well. Not a pick to laugh at actually.
He was ranked OT 1 from the very start of the year and only fell after the combine. He's a day-1 starter with better technique than every lineman in the draft, and in a shortened offseason that means everything.
Becton is hilariously bad at pass protection besides his athleticism. If you only focused on his ability to pass protect, he's a 3rd-rounder. Thomas has the lowest ceiling but the highest floor out of every lineman in the draft, and that's exactly what you need.
@FivePointsVids Read this thread for a defense of Andrew Thomas. I have him as OT1 personally, and there isn't a single consensus across the NFL, so any of the 4 works.
Extra note: Thomas faced off against K'Levon Chaisson, the consensus 2nd-best DE, 1-on-1 for a majority of the game. Chaisson got sonned except for a single snap, and even then Thomas recovered fast enough to not cause a strip sack.
