As a victim of child sex abuse in the late 80s and early 90s, it took me a long time to get up the courage to watch #leavingneverland. Knowing the miscarriage of justice I suffered back then, I don’t blame Wade Robson or James Safechuck for hiding their truth. 1/3

What I feel after watching it is mad respect. Telling your story that way is impossibly challenging. Telling it against so powerful a perpetrator, even moreso. Who among us did not expect the allegations then were true? But a heroic few helped those who came forward. 2/3

It’s always been that way and remains that ways still. May Robson and Safechuck be the first to open these floodgates of the next #metoo   movement, one that begins to prioritize and protect our children rather than our secrets. I thank them. 3/3 #childsexualabuse #MichaelJackson
