25th minute - A hopeful punt up field sees Pique and Drogba go racing into the box. Valdes rushes out and collided with both. Pique down injured from it and has to be subbed off

35th minute - Sergio Busquets scores to put Barcelona 1-0 up on the night and level on aggregate.

37th minute - It’s gone from bad to worse in the space of a few minutes!

Terry shown a straight red card for a knee in the upper leg on Sanchez. Chelsea a goal down and a man down and have their backs to the wall now

45th minute - WOW! moments later Chelsea pull one back. It’s now 2-1 on the night and 2-2 on aggregate. Lampard slips a pass through to Ramires and dinks it over Valdes. It’s not all good news as Ramires is yellow carded and will miss the final if they progress

70 minute- Chelsea have 20 minutes to hold on. Twenty minutes that will feel a lot longer. Barcelona with all the possession but aren't overly troubling. Pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass but nothing coming from it but we drop further and further back

80th minute - Roberto Di Matteo decides to freshen it up and brings Torres on for Drogba for his last substitution
