ok, so moore kismet's track with leotrix got leaked on reddit and moore'd broken down about it.

yea ... can i talk about that for a minute?

i know i'm missing moore's perspective here, and i'm willing to hear it out, but from what i've heard now, i don't get it at all. [thread]
for sure, i'd understand if this was sent out privately, especially to an originally trusted friend. that case would definitely make moore more in the right to feel upset about it. however, this wasn't the case. the track was "[sent] straight into public chat" on twitch. ...
... that's what i was told tho, not sure. one of my friends also believe it was in their celestial series showcase mix on soundcloud, so it was as public as it could get.

another point of lenience would be if it was stolen and/or uncredited. again, this is justifiable for ...
... being upset. however, like i said, whoever leaked it had the fullest advantage to do so since the track was already publicized without watermark.

regardless of its means of publicity or copyright, i feel like they should've expected this to happen. it happens to the best ...
... of the best, and those people pose little to no regard over it. but the next thing it happens to moore, they get so close to cancelling the ep the track was on.

moore, i don't want to sound harsh, and i will try to refrain from doing so, especially since you've since ...
... changed your mind on that decision, but it's still an silly way of going about dealing with this situation. if you didn't like people leaking your tracks, the best you can is go up to them privately and demand some sort of repeal. if the copyright infringement example ...
... is the case, you could also report the poster for those reasons. but going public about it (possibly even in search of sympathy, but possibly not) isn't the way to go. it doesn't help that you claimed you were crying over it and nearly cancelled an ep. it all makes you ...
... sound weaker and more sensitive than you most likely are authentically. (then again, i've also heard that taking [constructive] criticism isn't your strongest suit, but i've never really talked to you like that, so how would i know?)

these friends also said that you also ...
... could've just not publicized the id so early (or at all) before release, but i don't personally see the justification in doing that.

like someone in a hidden comment said before, which i'll rephrase as i believe it came off too harsh: the music industry is rough. not ...
... everything about it will go in your favor, regardless if your feelings were justifiable in the eyes of everyone or not, but the best way of dealing with it is by getting over it. like i said, this happens to so many much bigger names in this community, so it's possible it ...
... can happen to everyone, including myself. but in situations like this where the leaked product initially goes public by yourself, all possible consequences need to be accounted for before your expected choice can be considered the best for you... or something like that.

moore, if at any given chance you're actually reading this, i'll repeat what i said at the beginning of this thread and say i'm open and willing to hearing your perspective of this issue in private, as i know there's bound to be misinformation in here.

thanks for your time. đź’«
