So apparently there are some misunderstandings going around about that hj thread I made like a month ago. It wasn’t meant to offend or put down hj in any way.
I respect his hard work so much. What I’m saying is that hj worked his ass off to get where he is even when everyone was saying he couldn’t do it.
Even Eden talked about how bad of a dancer Hongjoong was at the beginning.

Being bad at something isn’t a bad thing.
But Hongjoong didn’t accept what others told him and he worked his ass off to literally stand on top of the mf world. I respect him for his hard work and dedication.
He taught me that you don’t have to have talent for something to work hard and be good at it.
If that thread was taken in the wrong way I apologize. I thought the rest of the thread would make it clear how much I love and respect him.
Here are screenshots of the WHOLE thread, since only the first 2 are being shared
My intentions were to talk about how the concept of “talent” can be toxic. Talent implies that you have a natural ability for a skill and we have this idea that you can’t do something if you don’t have talent for it. Like painting or drawing or dancing.
My point was that Hongjoong taught me that talent doesn’t matter. If you have enough passion and dedication you can do anything you set your mind to.
I know this came off wrong and I apologize for the wording that I used that made this sound so harsh. I admire Hongjoong so much and I’m upset with myself that this comes off so poorly.
I made this tweet when I had about 100 oomfs and my account was on private at the time. I didn’t think about how this would be read because the thread was made out of love and admiration for him and what he has taught me.
I’m sorry my poor choice of words has caused so much offense. I had no ill intent but I understand how this can be taken badly.
