Alrighty so an album thread for albums I like that aren't kpop!! I will include albums that aren't quite kpop at the end ^^

I'll start with musicals since that's the easiest category lmao

Hamilton is an album I really really love and honestly I couldn't let it go for MONTHS. Some of the songs still make me emotional and there's a couple quotes I'd like as a tattoo tbh

The Dreamgirls album isn't one that hit as hard as Hamilton did BUT!! I've been listening to it for years, I love it, and it's one of the few things my family can enjoy together (we actually did a cover/skit video to one of the songs!! )

Same with Chicago. Most of the family likes it and we get real goofy with this one cause truly how could you not??

RENT OH MY GOD. THIS ALBUM MIGHT BE BURNED ONTO MY SOUL FOR THE REST OF ETERNITY AND THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT. I'd also like some quotes as tattoos. Overall this album is just... so so good.

Wicked. Realizing queerness aside, this was really just a well put together album and I need to see the show. Something about it is weirdly relatable but I am in love with it and that's just something I have to deal with lol

This is another Family Affair kinda musical and it's responsible for a majority of my feelings about singing (outside of gospel music but we'll get to that later ) but some of the songs hit way harder than they mean to and I cry almost every time lmao

Lion King.... I was already really really into this album then one song I latched on to when I was having a really hard time and I really just adore everything that it is and everything it stands for to me. Also another family thing

Moving to albums that are mostly instrumental!! I listen to a lot of songs in this style. Like way more than I thought I did

I'm not even a big wedding person but I really love Disney songs and Jack Jezzo just made these feel so comforting?? I used to play them doing homework or going to sleep. It gives me the fuzzies lmao

I forgot there were a couple movie soundtracks in here. I didn't really wanna put them with the musicals but ehh

I can't really explain this one?? I love most of the songs on it but I don't really care for the movie. Like I'd never go out of my way to watch Juno and I'd prolly check the guide to see if anything else was on before watching it.

This album is primarily instrumental tracks but they all do exactly what they're designed to do and it's nothing short of fantastic. I also like the CD they made with just Prince of Egypt inspired songs but I cannot for the life of me find that album!!

Anyways moving on to regular albums!! If they're by the same artist, I'll likely put them in the same tweet

These are 2 of my preferred albums by him but I like a lot of individual songs that may not be on these as well. Mostly got into him because my family listened to him but hey, it's mj lol

Lmao I was really into the black eyed peas???? I don't listen to them as much anymore but sometimes I do get the urge to just stream them and nobody else. I bought the end and the beginning on iTunes so I really!! Liked these albums lol

I honestly don't know what to say about these albums. I really love them and something about them like brings peace to my soul???? And some of the songs did help me a lot with my self esteem but the songs are just nice to listen to and sing

This one is 100% my sister's fault and it's the only John Legend album I like lol there's a few other songs he's done that I'm into but this album?? Untouchable. He'll never top it.

Hands down my favorite Rihanna album. And this was back when I didn't even listen to entire albums so you know it was REALLY GOOD. I also bought this album with money on itunes

Idk what is with me and Three Days Grace but clearly I love them lmao I'm sorry but Transit of Venus was simply not it. Peak angst right here but even when I'm not in my feelings I live for these albums to this day

I didn't listen to this album until recently but I really like it. It's my favorite System of a Down album but I could not tell you why lol

This is the only Panic! at the Disco album that matters to me. Of course I like lots of their other songs but this album.... are you kidding me?? They put they foot in this one

Same with Mayday Parade. This is their best album to me. All these songs still hit hard. I even went to listen to their entire discography one day just because I was in the mood to listen to this album. ALSO ONE THAT I PURCHASED BTW
