It's really cool how most leaders in government and the private sector acknowledge Ramadan now. This wasn't a thing growing up and it's nice to see

I know most of it is marketing stuff from the private sector but at least they try. I do argue it's important for government leaders to give a shit tho.

I was lucky enough to grow up in Canada but the xenophobia existed a lot around the world especially after 9/11. It wasn't easy growing up as a little kid in the 2000s who was very Muslim at that time in my life. Things have changed but accepting people of all backgrounds is nice

Anyways, Ramadan Mubarak to all. It's going to be weird that I don't carry out my yearly tradition of eating at a restaurant with friends to break the last fast this year.
