My wife works in a lab at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Today they emailed her that her employer retirement contributions & merit raises are canceled, and she might get laid off.

Hopkins gave her a bag of chips though.

If you have an employer, write this down: they don’t give a shit about you. They will always choose their own families and interests over yours. When they said they wanted a team player, they didn’t mean your team.
