Vince McMahon today on the earnings call for investors said they'll be doing more "mini movies" like the cinematic matches at WrestleMania due to the current circumstances.
WWE interim CFO Frank Riddick says they're unable to estimate when PPV rights can be sold now because of the interruption from COVID-19, but the company continues to believe it's still possible.
Vince is now taking questions on the call & was asked about ratings not being as strong during the pandemic.

McMahon says it's a completely different show without an audience, since everything they do relies on reactions. They're still figuring out what works in this environment
Also said Raw has suffered more than SmackDown, but that's partly due to featuring new talent that takes time to get over.
Regarding the possibility of Florida no longer deeming sports with a national audience (without an audience) as essential, Vince says they have other options for where they can film shows.
Regarding the stall of selling PPV distribution rights, it was said that this was not due to a lack of interest in WWE. Vince follows up saying they were close on this, but the COVID-19 pandemic caught everyone with their pants down.
Vince McMahon says going forward he's not sure if WWE will be in the live event business as they were before.

Thinks it may take awhile for consumers to want to come out to a stadium or arena.

Vince also says if anyone will figure their way around this though, it will be WWE.
Vince McMahon says new content is always a driver in stimulating interest. Believes everyone is starved for content at the moment.
Vince McMahon gives credit to the performers in WWE who he says are working so hard right now and stepping it up, given the current circumstances.
Vince McMahon doesn't want to give an estimate as to when WWE may have a crowd again. Says he has no idea when it's going to be allowed or what that will even look like when it is.
Regarding talent morale regarding producing shows during the pandemic, McMahon says they're taking it as a challenge/duty. Also says it's amazing they've all risen to the occasion.

"By and large they are very very special people," he added. "All in all, I'm so proud of them."
Regarding keeping talent safe while performing during the pandemic, McMahon pointed to the following things they're doing at the moment:

- Talent being in a sequestered hotel
- Performing in small groups/waves
- Changing the turnbuckles/ropes between matches
They also talked about a spray they've coated everything at the WWE PC with from Allied BioScience which allegedly clings to surfaces acting like a sword that punctures the cell wall of the virus killing it on contact. Lasts for 90-120 days.
BIG NEWS! On the call it was confirmed there will be no launch of a new WWE2K game this year.
