Update, links, for #COVID19 reopening in #bozeman #gallatinvalley. The @GallatinHealth Board this AM & after many hours of discussion voted to move forward in alignment with @GovernorBullock's directive. Board, made up of fellow citizens deserve our appreciation. #mtnews 1/8
On public health, metrics guiding decisions include:
--sustained decreased caseload
--ability to test
--contact tracing
--capability of isolating
--supply of PPE & overall ability of health system to handle caseloads
--and metrics to use if restrictions must return 3/8
On economic side, health department working w/local businesses to prepare so some may slowly, safely reopen, including
--Safety guidance for employees, customers
--Agreement for business demonstrating understanding of the guidance/safety measures..... 4/8
.....--Document changes in how services are being provided
--Public education/outreach of standards such as signs, videos, webinars, email communication, and the call center (above) to answer FAQs 5/8
Protections for the most vulnerable remain in place. Nursing homes are closed to visitors, and vulnerable individuals should continue to follow stay-at-home guidance, avoid groups, and stay home whenever possible. 6/8
Still in Place:
•Practice physical distancing (6 feet!)
•Stay home when possible or if sick
•Wear a cloth mask in public for things like grocery trips
•Wash hands frequently and clean surfaces
•Avoid touching face
•Those entering MT must self-isolate for 14 days
